Greystride (Pty) Ltd (“Greystride”) (including its owners, directors, employees, suppliers, internet service providers, partners, affiliates and agents) shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of any nature incurred by whomever and resulting from:

• inability to access the Greystride website;
• inability to access websites linked to the Greystride website;
• content available on the Greystride website;
• services available from the Greystride website; or
• downloads and use of content from the Greystride website.

The Greystride website is supplied on an “as is” basis and has not been compiled to meet the user’s individual requirements. Nothing on this website should be relied on and users should consult with a legal or financial advisor prior to making any decisions.

Greystride does not make any warranties or representations that content and services available from the Greystride website will in all cases be true, correct or free from any errors. Greystride shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the quality and accuracy of content available from the Greystride website and encourage users to report incorrect and untrue information subject to the right of Greystride to rely on its free expression rights and determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, the contents of this website.

Greystride does not make any warranties or representations that the Greystride website shall be available at all times. Users acknowledge that the Greystride website may be unavailable due to updates or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Greystride, including, but not limited to virus infection, unauthorised access, power failure or other “acts of God.” The Promotion of Access to Information Act No. 2 of 2000 (“the/this Act”), was enacted to give effect to section 32 of the constitution that is giving effect to the constitutional right of access to any information held by the State and any information that is held by another person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights. Where a request is made in terms of this Act, the private or public body to which the request is made is obliged to release the information, except where the Act expressly provides that the information must not be released. The Act sets out the requisite procedural issues attached to such request.

Section 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, No. 108 of 1996 provides that everyone has the right of access to:

• any information held by the state; and
• any information that is held by another person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.
